Boredom
So, dooodz, I am starting to get a little stir crazy out here in the midwestern suburbs. I mean, I LOVE hanging out with my grandpugrents (and receiving carrots from them), but life does move slower here. A lot slower.
Don’t get me wrong, I do enjoy a day filled with naps, and there’s plenty of open spaces for long vigorous strolling, but I yearn for socialization (I haven’t sniffed a butt in over 2 weeks). I’m going to borrow a tip from Noodles and sum up my feelings in verse:
I scan to my left.
I peek to my right.
Something feels wrong –
There’s not another pug in sight!

Hi Sid
I like your attempt at iambic verse.
No pugs in sight????? That is UNHEARD of in the USA!!!! You’re in the midwest. . . that is HALF way to the west and I live in the west. . . come visit me here. Just don’t sniff my butt. I get a little testy from uninvited butt-sniffing.

WIth the weather so un-Chicago-y for December, why don’t you look for a pug meet up or a dog park? We hit as many dog parks as we can when we travel. There’s bound to be a dog park where you can do some super sniffing!

Oh, Sid! I love your bored expressions, especially looking right. You will get to meet Donald and Daisy before you know it. In the meantime, go on lots of walks, I’m sure you’ll run into some new friends.
Love,
Christy

Dooooode! I had not idea you were hanging in the midwest! We would love to have some company over here in Skokie….just don’t expect any carrots. Hit our humans up for some local pug action here in the Windy City. It’s not Brooklyn, but we do our beat.
