Hurricane Survivors
Irene came and went and we survived unscathed. Sid, who has a bladder of steel, didn’t even have to resort to using the wee-wee pads. I think he’s too proud.
Park Slope as a whole faired well, and there were only leaves and small branches on the ground. We actually had to hunt around a little to find the larger debris you see in the photo.
Hope all you other East Coast pugs and humans stayed safe!

We are so glad to hear it! Thanks for the update, Sid. I knew you would be brave and protect your mom and dad. I bet you had a lot of saved up marking to do, and with all those branches on the ground, I bet you had a field day!

PS. I can’t wait to hear about your night out…and no rush, but we are still waiting on the final installment of the “we got Sid” saga…I guess we all know how it ends, but your mom’s story telling is so great, I want more!

Wow Sid, you do have a bladder of steel. So does Lincoln but he totally barks every five seconds during storms. I would have just gone wherever. Really glad you all made it!

Hi Sid,
Good to hear that you’re safe. We were really lucky here at my house. Power went out for only 20 minute but I barked it back on. There are houses on the same block that still has no power. Gotta get back to entertaining our guests who are staying with us because they won’t have light for a couple of more days.
