Stick-burgler
So, Sid has never, ever, shown any interest in fetching a stick. Timothy, however, is a stick aficionado, and the other morning while we were at Prospect Park, something amazing happened…
Timothy found herself a comically large stick. It’s right there, in the grass.
We began playing fetch with Timothy. Sid, mildly confused by Timothy’s excitement, began chasing her each time we threw the stick to see what she was so excited about.
After about five throws, something clicked in Sid’s brain – there must be something delicious about that stick!
So, Sid, for the first time ever, began playing fetch with a stick.
And, in typical Sid fashion, our game of stick-fetch instantly went from “lighthearted fun” to OBSESSION.
Struggles commenced.
Hilarious struggles.
But Sid would not let go.
He wouldn’t even drop the stick so Brian could throw it again!
Had we created A MONSTER??!!
Only time will tell…

Sid, those are great pictures of you and Miss Timothy in the park. I’ve never been a stick girl myself. I think I’d much rather fetch and chew on one of those peanut butter basted braided bones I found in Dog-a-holics. I shouldn’t be telling you this, but it may be a good idea to let Timothy win the tug and have the stick once in a while. Ladies like a giving man. I’m just happy that you had a fun day!
Love,
Payton
PS. Those bolster beds are made by Bowsers Pet Products. I have the Donut Bed at home and the ones I took a picture by in the store that look like a couch are called Double Donut Beds. Ok, I’m hungry now so I’m off to beg for a treat!

Sid, Don’t sweat it. I don’t play fetch so well either. I do love a tasty stick, though. IF I can ever get them away from my ‘rents.

Scarlet prefers things to be brought to her, preferably on a silver platter. I don’t see any stick play in her future. I will say Sid, though, stick play is good; it will keep your puggish figure so you can have more eatables.
However:
Playing with stick = good. Eating stick = bad.
Enjoy! ♥♥♥

Oh Sid, I don’t get the stick game. Lincoln loves the stick and ball game. He runs and runs for hours. I just chase Lincoln, nothing ever clicks for me. Glad you found an awesome new game but you might want to look into that obsessive personality 🙂 hehe
